About Me

Balvir Bhathal

I moved to Regina from British Columbia with my wife and 3 children over 13 years ago and we have been residing in Ward 4 for over 7 years. My children went to Jack Mackenzie elementary school. I have worked as a certified Journeyman electrician with IBEW Union in various locations in Saskatchewan.

I have a track record of leadership and community engagement as I have been on the Board of Directors for Sikh Society Regina for more than 5 years and worked in many different positions. Throughout my time with Sikh Society Regina, I have been involved in hosting multiple events such as the Sikh Day Parade and blood donation drives. It has been our mission to raise awareness and education in our community by establishing programs such as First Aid & CPR and Food Safety to allow everyone to learn.

My main focus point will be on transparency, showing accountability, and advocating for the needs of our ward. This means prioritizing initiatives that will offer the most benefit and improve the quality of life in our neighbourhoods.
