Effective allocation of tax dollars
As tax payers we need to ensure that our tax dollars are being invested into facilities and resources that benefit our communities. Engaging with community members to understand everyones needs and priorities is vital, as it allows us to make informed decisions that reflect the collective interests of our residents.
Increasing neighbourhood safety
Ensuring that our neighbourhoods are a safe place for residents and building stronger relations with law enforcement through regular communication. Building these connections with the law enforcement serve as platforms for the community to stay updated on crime trends, safety initiatives, and available resources.
Advocating for affordable living
Property taxes have constantly been increasing. We should be receiving improved services in our neighbourhoods. This includes better maintenance of public spaces, increased funding for local schools, and enhanced public safety measures.
Improving community infrastructures
Upgrading roads, sidewalks and public transits in our areas to improve accessibility. As well as maintaining public parks and playgrounds. These spaces provide vital leisure opportunities for young children and act as gathering spots for neighbours to socialize.
